ta-da!

5 cups of black coffee. That's how much caffeine it takes me to persuade myself into starting a blog.

This is the scene at Clinton Street Cafe, the friendly neighborhood spot just three blocks from my new home. The gals here are amazingly attentive at assuring your mug keeps full. I'm definitely still honeymooning with Portland. It's a blustery, bright fall day and the leaves are accumulating at the curbsides.

I'm successfully distracting myself from writing a resume for the 2010 Ruckus Test Team to be used in securing sponsorship funds. I haven't had an administrative role in a bicycling team before, so I'm having to spend some time researching. It's pretty awesome to have found such a great group of folks to pedal with so quick, I'm psyched to already have my next season of training, racing, and partying shaping up in a swell way.

My super relaxed Sunday afternoon to include vegan sugar cookie baking (fun fall shapes!), organizing my sock drawer and taking my recently repaired Steamroller out for a spin. yay!
